He/she will direct 1-2 research projects focusing on molecular mechanisms by which HBV and HCV induce liver diseases such as fibrosis, cirrhosis and cancer. He/she will lead a research team to establish cell culture and animal models for target validation and pharmacological studies of compounds. Minimum requirements The position requires a Ph.D, (or equivalent) in virology with 3 or more years of independent research experience either in academia or industry setting, excellent record of achievement including high impact publications, excellent communication skills. Strong experimental skills in virology and cell biology are necessary. Expertise in HBV and HCV biology is preferred.
