Talent Spotter has successfully placed quite a lot of candidates into these international companies and thus wins good reputations within the industry as well as confidence from its clients.   Our client is a premier tier one automotive supplier of delivering technologically advanced systems, modules and components to the motor vehicle industry.   To cope with the fast growth of the company and better leverage the resources from the market to ensure better competitiveness, entrusted by our client, Talent Spotter takes this assignment to search for qualified and motivated talents to join the winning team.     Position:                                    CAD Designer (UG) Report to:                                 Sr. Design Engineer Job Location:                           Shanghai     JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:   -Design components in CAD, compatible with customer requirements and expectations. -Analyze product requirements to ensure design fit and feasibility. -Apply GD&T, check drawings for tolerance stack-ups, and complete motion studies to ensure design clearances.  -Ensure that all written requirements, test specifications, manufacturing notes, etc. are on the product drawings. -Attend Design Staff and Project Team meetings. -Meet with the Customer and Suppliers for design reviews. -Assist Engineering with analyzing ‘Design for Manufacture’/’Design for Assembly’ and Brainstorming ideas. -Support the Prototype Development department through the development process. -Assist in generating alternative designs if problems arise during production or product development. -Participate in new product development activities with the worldwide team. -Perform detailing activities as required. -Perform other duties as assigned.     REQUIREMENTS:   -Bachelor degree in Mechanical/Automation or Engineering related -3 years minimum experience is required in UG -Thorough understanding of OEM customer data and drawing requirements and how to format and provide them -Thorough understanding of Data Transfer methods such as IGES, DXF, CAT export/import, STEP etc. -Advanced training classes and outstanding design skills within required specialized CAD system.  -Preferably 2 years minimum experience in automotive body systems mechanisms.-     -Expertise in GD&T.      -Understanding of QS9000 requirements as related to the Design department. -Proven 3D modeling and 2D drawing expertise. -Excellent English communication skills.     Successful candidates will be offered long-term development programs and career development plans, which allow them to grow into more senior positions.   Interested in applying?
