Through such cross-industry knowledge, they help its clients find the best solution.   The company has established a network of more than 100 offices across 22 countries, enabling them to meet the needs of clients who require specialised knowledge of local conditions, as well as clients who require global resources.   THE POSITION   Purpose The key purpose of the Principal Geologist is to take a senior leadership role in providing services for clients in the areas of sampling, geological resource modelling and grade control studies for a range of commodities for projects in China .   Key Responsibilities Liaising with clients. Developing new business opportunities in the area of Geology. Grade control and resource modelling, in both metalliferous and coal projects. Project management, budgeting and quality control for consulting assignments. THE PERSON   Key Selection Criteria / Technical Skills Tertiary qualified. Strong background in Exploration and Mine Geology. Experience in resource modelling. Broad experience at a senior level with project evaluation and assessment. Ideally, you may have worked with a consulting firm previously. Experience in conducting feasibility studies at all levels of accuracy for new projects. Experience in sampling and grade control studies. Experience in conducting resource modelling studies for a range of commodities and mining styles (both open pit and underground).   Key Selection Criteria / People Skills Motivation - A commitment and desire to succeed at a personal, team and organisational level through positive contribution and open communication.
