Position Summary

• Translate client-related or firm-related legal documents from Chinese to English or vice versa as requested by partners, senior associates, solicitors and shared service managers in China centres
• Ensure the translations are precise and consistent with an appropriate legal style

Qualifications Essential

• LLB or BA in English from reputable universities
• Solid work experience as a legal translator or legal translation experience in a law firm
• CET-6 or TEM-8

Desirable

• LLM
• Solid English translation training
• Work experience in a foreign law firm or in the legal department of a foreign company
