JOB PROFILE Report To: Costing Manager
Location: Shanghai Responsibilities:

• To ensure consistency of cost accounting regardless of product type, locations, and periods.
  
• To ensure the costing methodology is in line with both of Corporate policies and local accounting laws.
  
• To set up standard cost for new products by coordinating with all Dept. concerned.
  
• To monitor cost variances closely on daily routine basis which incl. but not limited in purchase price variance, over/under consumption of material, labor variance, overhead variance, inventory gain or loss, abnormal inventory movement, etc.
  
• To conduct variance analysis and coordinate with all Dept concerned for initiating action plan on cost control as well as monitor the implementation of such plan.
  
• To review / update standard cost for full range of products on yearly basis and to review / update standard cost for those products under localization process on monthly basis.
  
• To review / update cost driver and cost allocation principle on yearly basis.
  
• To support Finance Controller in generating annual budget and on-going forecast as well as comprehensive analysis of the same.
  
• To support IT Mgr to conduct testing and assessment in ERP system for new reports and new business procedure which may heavily impact on costing.
  
• Any other duties may be directed by the Costing Manager.

Qualification:

• University education in finance or accounting or auditing.
  
• Minimum 3 years similar experience in foreign invested companies.
  
• Excellent costing methodology & concept.
  
• Good English & PC skill, preferable with ERP II software.
  
• Team player with good interpersonal skill.
  
• Mature, intelligent, energetic, initiative & trustworthy.
  
• Quick learning.
