To provide the technical knowledge for successful PA6 extrusion development and technical support to the customers and sales organization in Asia Pacific region, with special attention in Mainland China.
· Identify technical trends in the PA6 extrusion industry with the focus on film industry
· Define, in cooperation with customers (and subsequent business chain), developments projects
· Provide technical support like designing, engineering and processing
· Prepare, in cooperation with colleagues in sales organization, value proposition packages to meet specific industry trends or customer needs
· Define material needs for new applications and segments
· Evaluate new materials and judge the suitability for the target application
· Communicate about the Asia Pacific extrusion market situation with the global DSM organization. Provide input for strategic discussions.
· Ensure customer satisfaction
· Visiting customers throughout Asia Pacific
· Keep technical contacts with equipment suppliers
· Obtain technical approvals Qualifications & Attributes · Minimum 3 years working experience in the extrusion related industry (plastics), ideally at plastic film producers, plastic material producers who are active in extrusion or packaging industry, or machine producers, working as process engineer or a function similar to AD&TS
· Actual experience in an extrusion environment is certainly a plus
· Academic studies in polymer science with min. bachelor degree.
· Fluent English in writing, listening and speaking is a must
· A self-starter, proactive and ambitious individual
· An effective communicator, showing integrity and openness
· Analytical, with good judgment, business sense and problem solving skills
· A strong negotiator who is able to identify customers' needs and persuasive in presenting ideas
· A team-player, able to work interdependently
· Result and quality oriented, customer focused
· Good interpersonal skills and self propelling, proactive personality
· Knowledge and skills of standard PC applications

Min. 3 years working experience in a foreign company, ideally a multi-national company.
