Responsibilities:
-Execute project work according to engineering concepts, design calculations and/or related drawing reviews and other documentation for installations;
-Propose necessary changes in the design to correct or optimize the functionality of electrical distribution network, lighting, grounding and lightning protection systems;
-Analyzes and selects materials and/or equipment best suited for application requirements in electrical distribution network, lighting, grounding and lightning protection systems;
-Supports field construction activities including testing, tuning and start-up of electrical equipment at Clients facilities. Verify installation to make sure it’s meet costumers and local code requirements;
-Prepares comparison studies of installation and life cycle costs for various systems and other similar comparisons as requested;
-Prepare & review Technical Bid Analysis and to attend vendor technical clarification meetings when necessary;
-Performs evaluation of electrical systems within Clients facility and/or at supplier’s location, to assure practical application and efficiency;
-Knowledge of other engineering disciplines such as piping / civil / equipment / instrumentation / process and have awareness of the interface information that would need to be exchanged with these other specialist disciplines during the course of a project;
-Prepares and implements China and Saudi Arabia standards exchanged;
-Maintains an awareness of environmental and energy compliance requirements on each assignment and works to meet these requirements;
-Prepares cost estimates for electrical systems;
-Prepares Appropriation Request documents;
Requirements:
-Bachelor’s degree (minimum requirement) with a major in electrical field;≥ 5 years experience working directly in electrical field;
-This position requires experience on FEED (Front End Electrical Design), BED (Basic Electrical Design), DED (Detail Electrical Design), Construction and Commissioning on site;
-More than 8 ars involve in the field of Power distribution (High, Medium & Low voltage), Switchgear, Motors, Transformers, Cables, VFD, UPS, Large Electrical Heaters;
-More than 5 years of experience working with Power Analysis Software for Load Flow & Short Circuit Analysis;
-Good performance in oral and written communication in English is required;
-Background in administration and strong leadership is required;
- Petrochemical or chemical plant experience;
Desirable Competence Advantage:
- Familiar with local and international practices and standard such as ANSI, NEMA, NFPA;
- Experience with international offshore project;
