JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Preparation of comprehensive knowledge of the markets relative to the products and applications in REHAU's fields of interest, and relative to priorities harmonised with the marketing division.
2. Permanent search for new applications / developments and their implementation.
3. Definition / initiation of preliminary development subjects.
4. Co-ordination of the active co-operation of all specialised departments involved within the framework of the project files / projects.
5. Achievement of the development targets under consideration of the definitions relative to quality, costs, and deadlines.
6. Complete definition of the article according to shape, appearance, and function under consideration of staged qualities in compliance with the customer and / or market requirements, thus setting up preliminary data for CHEM, M+L, and process engineering departments. These departments define the raw materials, materials, suppliers, and manufacturing processes independently, but in close harmonisation with the relevant application-engineering department.
7. Inclusion of know-how obtained in previous developments and from the zero-fault programme within the framework of the product concept.
8. Up to the beginning of series production in case of customer developments, the application engineering departments keep intensive contact to the customer in all matters relating to the development progress, harmonisation to requirements, employment / application / installation, documentation, testing and release.
9. Maintenance of the products in the utilisation phase by means of application engineering services.
10. In defined cases the HA TAD division is responsible for the assistance in decentralised application engineering fields, such as for training measures, preparation of concepts, instructions, and verification, assistance in concrete queries, project files, projects.
REQUIREMENTS
1. University degree in Chemistry/ Engineering/ Polymer Processing
2. 5 years of relevant experience as technical engineer/ technical customer support
3. Good Analytical skills/ Organizational skills/ Communication skills
4. English is besides Mandarin a must
