Responsible to (Function): Cop Construction Manager
Function/CoP: Construction Prime responsibilities and duties
Co-ordination of the site functions to meet project requirements, especially in respect of schedule. To monitor performance against the schedule and implement corrective action, as necessary. Co-ordinate and report on a weekly and monthly basis on all contract matters, in particular, progress statements and problem areas. Ensure that site procedures are adhered to, in accordance with project requirements, including matters of safety and security. Ensure adequate and qualified supervision and skilled labour resources are employed to meet schedule requirements. Implement working to the relevant site or national agreements and establish working conditions, welfare facilities, safety plan and other related matters. Identification of changes to sub-contractors contracts and support of claims as requested. Hold regular meetings with the project office management and the various sub-contractors to review progress and resolve problems, etc. To read, understand and implement the Project Safety Policy and the arrangements described in the project Safety Management System documents. More than 12 years construction management experience of chemical and petro-chemical project. Be familiar with the specification and procedure of domestic and foreign project management. Good co-ordination and communication skill.
