To support our growing and dynamic China practice we are looking to recruit Translator
(法律文本翻译) .
The ideal candidate will posses the following key criteria;
- A diploma or above
- Experience within a law firm would be an advantage
- More than 3 years of experience in translating legal documents with exceptional English writing and translating skills
- Experience and good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and the internet
- Professional attitude and able to work well under pressure
- Proven organisational skills
The main responsibilities for this position are detailed below;
- Translation of documents from Chinese to English and from English to Chinese
- Checking of documents against different language (English and Chinese) versions
- Contacting lawyers directly to seek clarification on jobs to avoid mis-translation
- Working overtime as and when required
- Managing translation timelines and deadlines
