Job Description:
As a member in IP TSC (IP Technical Support Centre) team. Technical Support Engineer position has the following responsibilities:
- This is an APAC regional support role for talent individual.
- Provides second level technical support for carrier grade router/switch and management system to internal and external customers.
- Support a wide range of IP products including but not limited to 7750/7710/7450/7250/5620SAM.
- Independently troubleshoot & debug product problems.
- Effectively utilizes lab setups to formulae problem recreation procedure prior escalate to 3LS.
- Ensure timely feedback to customer in accordance with SLA.
- Extensive product and certification training will be provided for successful candidate.
Requirements:
The successful candidate has the following experience, skills and capabilities:
- 5-10 years working knowledge of Networking industry, products and protocols.
- Well verse of IP technology, routing protocol and MPLS.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Able to work independently and self motivated.
- Some travel is required.
- Good verbal and written English communication skills.
- Knowledge of other Asian languages would be an advantage.
- Professional qualification (e.g. CCIE) desirable.
- Degree in Engineering or Computer Science recommended.
- Individual with lesser experience but eager to learn will also be considered.
