The Risk Analyst/Manager position will conduct risk analysis on risk losses, restriction efficiency and productivity. Responsible for generating regular MIS report and ad hoc report and proactively provide analysis and suggestions on risk trend and improvement.
Job Duties/Responsibilities will include
· Drive analytical solutions for fraud trend, risk operational performance and resource optimizations
· Perform analytical data-mining at both the transaction and account level with goal of creating optimal risk/reward tradeoff
· Proactively Interact cross functionally within the organization to achieve results
· Track monthly performance, interpret data trends, and recommend opportunities for improvement
· Access database to generate risk MIS reports
l A bachelor’s degree in a quantitative area (e.g. economics, statistics, finance, computer science, engineering) is required. Masters degree preferred
l 4-5 years previous analytical experience preferably in the risk management, database marketing, or consulting area
l Strong ability to translate numerical data into action-oriented recommendations
l Excellent bi-lingual (English/Chinese) communication skills
l Self-motivator, creative thinking with very good presentation skill
l Familiarity with SQL, SAS, and UNIX is strongly preferred
