Teaching experience or relevant work in a laboratory is preferred.   The science technician would work under the supervision of the Head of Science and Senior Technician.  Their role includes the following tasks.   1.       Daily preparation of equipment and materials used in practical lessons, following teacher instructions.  2.       Clearing away, storage and maintenance of practical equipment after practical lessons. 3.       Ensuring that the laboratories are maintained as suitable working environments. 4.       Assisting in the management of resources, including books and teaching materials. 5.       Assisting students with practical work as required. 6.       Demonstrating practical work as required. 7.       Assisting in the purchasing of local equipment and the ordering of overseas equipment. 8.       Being familiar with safe working practice in the School laboratory.
