- Master degree in Business Economics/ Chemistry or related subject
- International working experience
- At least 5 years relevant experience
- Negotiation successes
- Strong communication skills
- Willingness for regular travelling (China, Asia, International)
- Very good analytical skills
- Very good knowledge in standard computer programmes (MS Office, ...)
- Self-starter, ability to identify and execute sourcing opportunities;
ability to work with minimum supervision and direction
- Highest degree of integrity
- Location: Shanghai
Responsibilities:

• Reports to European HQ Responsible for the overall management of the Asia sourcing
  operations for the company, including planning and execution of the sourcing
  activities and organizational development in Asia to support the company's
  global sourcing strategy.
  
• Identifies Asia-Pacific sourcing opportunities for the company
  
• Identifies supplier development needs; plans and executes
  detailed supplier development programme
  
• Coaches and mentors the Asia sourcing and quality control team,
  conducts performance reviews.
  
• Develops project plans, coordinates projects, communicates
  changes and progress and manages Asia sourcing office activities
  
• Perform risk analysis and recommendations for the Asian sourcing
  activities
  
• Responsible for the supplier management and relationship
  management with the selected suppliers
  
• Manages transition from existing supplier to Chinese supplier
  
• Conducts any ongoing negotiations and wrap up contract process
  
• Interfaces with top management of Asian suppliers
  
• Analyses other potential supplier markets, identifies potential
  new opportunities, defines new sourcing strategies
