Job description:
Conduct research on new generation of medical x-ray detectors
Organizational Reporting Relationship:
Positions administratively report to the Director of the Shanghai Carestream Health R&D center, and functionally to the Carestream Health Dental CTO.
Job Summary:
Build a physical model for the interaction of x-rays with photon-to-electron conversion materials, and the transport of electrons through interface layers to silicon diodes
Qualifications:
·PhD, semiconductor physics
·2 - 5 years in semiconductor materials (SiO2, Amorphous-Se, CdTe, AsGa)
·Knowledge of medical x-ray detectors would be a plus.
·Mathlab or similar tools.
