A-level is a pre-university course, that is accepted by universities worldwide. Currently, our centre has 50 students who intend to go abroad for further education after finishing their A-level courses. Due to the high demand for international education in the the Chang-Jiang (Yangtze River) Delta region, CIC is expecting to recruit more and more new students. Wuxi Cambridge International Centre is located in Wuxi Guanghua Private School (WGPS). The school was founded in 1995 and is one of ten schools around China owned by the Shanghai Guanghua Educational Investment & Management Inc. The school has established an outstanding reputation for high quality, innovative and creative education in the region, which includes both Shanghai and Nanjing. Nearly 600 million RMB has been invested in developing WGPS, and it has become one of the largest private schools in China. We have more than 6000 students and 1100 qualified staff (including 50 foreign teachers), and our campus covers more than 100 acres. Education is provided from pre-school to senior school students. The school has also gained the distinction of being the only private school to be listed in the Chinese Ministry of Educations publication, 50 years of Educational Achievement in the New China. A-Level Teachers for Cambridge International Centre Email: wuxiguanghua@yahoo.com.cn   The requirements for A-Level Teachers: Subjects: Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Economics, Accounting, Computer Science; Enthusiastic and creative teachers with the ability to make their subject easily understandable to students learning in a second language. He or she will have a degree (Bachelors, Masters or PhD) in a related subject, and preferably have at least 1 to 2 years of teaching experience and/or a teaching degree. Candidates of any age or nationality are warmly welcomed, although excellent English skills are a prerequisite. The responsibilities of A-level teachers are: 1. Teaching A-level and related courses in English (16 class hours/week); 2. Training Chinese teaching assistants in A-level teaching technique; 3. Preparing written teaching material in English for use in the future. Salary and other conditions: · 8,000 to 11,000 RMB/month. · Free private accommodation on campus 5 minutes from teaching center.
