We are seeking an experienced and organised, candidate to undertake a key role within our new automotive electronics company in the area of Pudong New District, Shanghai. Position in the organisation
You will report directly to the Engineering Manager. Scope of the job The role will involve working on vehicles within the workshop area. Typical activities will include:- · Stripping and rebuilding all areas of a car; engine bay, interior, chassis etc.
· Removing and replacing engines, transmission and other key components and noting how this is done.
· Assisting in the generation of workshop literature.
· Ensuring a safe working area is maintained.
· Other standard workshop activities Dimensions and limits of Authority Day to Day Activities · Mechanical/Electrical installation/disassembly of vehicle components.
· Maintain good Working practice and ensure the Workshop is properly maintained and cleaned.
· Any other items as required by the company.
 
Skills Required
· Clear and concise communication.
· Self-motivated and disciplined.
· Flexible and keen to learn new skills.
· Proactive and capable of meeting deadlines.
· Able to work under pressure without supervision
· Team member · Problem solving · Logical and lateral thinking Experience
· You will have served in an Automotive Workshop (Car dealerships/ garage) for at least one year.
· You will be aware of all workshop methods and capable with all standard workshop equipment.
· Flexible in your approach you will have the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and suppliers alike.
