- Assist Construction Manager in site supervision of curtain wall installation
- Assist Construction Manager in assessment of curtain wall contract variations
- Assist Construction Manager in assessment of curtain wall monthly payment requests
- Assist Construction Manager in preparation of curtain progress monthly reporting
- Monitor for contractor preparation of curtain wall submittals. Assist to prioritize tasks to ensure that project requirements are being completed as needed.
- Collect and process curtain wall submittals and RFI’s from the contractor and coordinate for timely responses from the Jian Li and Local Design Institute
- Confirm related documentation is in compliance with contract requirements
- Review and analyze relevant contractor submittals and correspondence
- Process contract related correspondence under Construction Manager’s supervision
- Maintain accurate and timely project records of curtain wall works
- Conduct fabrication shop and site inspections
- File and maintain construction contracts and related documentation
- Assist with curtain wall close-out activities
- Other construction management responsibilities as required
Requirements
- College degree in construction, architecture, engineering, or related industry
- Minimum 5 years experience in construction and the ability to demonstrate experience with the items listed under Responsibilities
- Experience in China
- Familiar with international construction management techniques
- Bilingual, with good English verbal and written skills
- Capable of displaying good practices in document controls
- A well organized person who works efficiently
- Able and responsible to work with minimal supervision
