• 2+ years working experience in memory or mobile handset semiconductor industry, with marketing or sales background.
• Extensive contacts in China’s electronics supply chain and semiconductor industry.
• Strong work ethic driven by intense intellectual curiosity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work with the Principal Analyst to identify and develop information sources that speak to technology demand, component supply and pricing.
• Develop and maintain expertise at interpreting and explaining the implications of news and information in the context of the Technology industry.
• Develop and maintain both formal and informal networks of experts and industry contacts to help Reuters' customers get answers to specific questions.
• Support our expert network group to identify and recruit experts for Reuters Advisor Network.
• Support proprietary surveys about Technology trends affecting Asia-Pacific.

Qualifications:

• Four-year degree or equivalent
• Fluent English, Chinese

Scope: Reuters is seeking a Technology Analyst to help develop a new global research product targeted at institutional investors and hedge fund managers ("the Buyside").
