1. Instruct, Guide, Supervises and lead the duties of all Shift Operators. Execute production on schedules based on plant processes, personnel, materials and inventory requirements.
2. Supervises the duties of warehouse personnel to ensure order fulfillment, raw material receipt (bulk and packaged), packaging supply receipt, other receipts and shipments.
3. Ensures all plant operating procedures and instructions are followed and the plant to runs safely and efficiently.
4. Liaise with the Laboratory personnel regarding product quality.
5. Interface with the appropriate maintenance personnel regarding the performing of maintenance activity during shift operations.
6. Liaise with the Production Manager to ensure adequate deliveries from all suppliers regarding product quality and supply quantities are received on schedule.
7. Analyzes and resolves work problems, or assists workers in solving work problems.
8. Maintains time and production records, and operator training records.
9. Participates in the production meetings for production planning, plant optimization and capacity upgrade as required.
10. Liaise with the Production Manager to develop and implement environmental, health, safety and quality programs.
11. Advises Production Manager concerning the status of production operations. Provides information and reports as required.
12. Takes steps to promote a positive employee relation's climate on the plant. Where necessary help the Production Manager resolve disputes which may arise.
13. Assesses and recommends appropriate staffing for the efficient operation of the plant; participates where required to help with recruitment, training and development of subordinate personnel.
15. Maintain 24 hour emergency contact
16. This position is responsible for the safe operation of all process on the site and the personnel who operate the plant.
17. This position report to the Production Manager.

Requirements:
1.This position must have knowledge of engineering or powder technology with experience in batch operations or similar process.
2.This position requires a minimum of 3 years of experience in Chemical or powder Batch Processing industry at a management level.
3.Oral and written English communication skills is preferable
4. With good team work, self-motivated and independent.
5. Good communication skills.
