Key Responsibility
Internal Control
1. Assist BMAP (Building Material Asia & Pacific) Internal Control Manager to maintain control environment and internal control system and identify internal control weakness throughout BMAP.
2. Advise and assist cycle owners to:
ü integrate SOX requirements with local needs, design and/or improve control environment and process, establish SOP (standard operating procedures);
ü maintain, update and promulgate SOP and policies;
ü develop self checklist for different positions.
3. Monitor compliance of policies, SOP and other regulations, and keep awareness of management level.
4. Advice and help in internal control training & certification system, monitor situation on implementation. Train people on internal control.
5. Advice and help function people to develop self audit system and monitor implementation.
Audit
1. Execute regular internal audits of operating entities, specific operating areas and flows.
2. Document deficiencies in control, process efficiencies, effectiveness as well as other factors.
3. Follow up with auditee’s corrective action plans and results.
4. Work with corporate internal audit department.
Competencies & Qualifications:
1. 5 years or more of audit or financial and accounting experiences.
2. Big 4 audit firm background preferred.
3. Professional/Technical Knowledge:
ü Degreed of Financial and Accounting or above
ü CPA or ACCA preferred
ü With 3 plus years familiarity knowledge of internal control, audit process and ERP system
ü Advanced Integration ability: Understands the business interaction including manufacturing operation, supply chain and market promotion activities etc.
ü US SOX experience.
4. Good communication skill and fluent English.
