• Follow a structured investment research process, that includes 
• building and creating a franchise in assigned sectors, covering about 20-30 public companies;
• performing financial analysis and due diligence;
• writing investment-driven research reports in Excel/Word;
• Searching and monitoring a wide range of information sources, including internet, sell-side research, company filings, and many research and trading platforms. 
• Creating and maintaining earning and valuation models on covered companies
• Interacting regularly with company executives, industry specialists, customers, suppliers, banks, trade organizations, investment bankers, research sources, and/or others to assist in making a proper investment decision.
• Identifying and communicating actionable investment ideas to portfolio manager. Type of ideas can vary, but should be well-researched and easily understood from strategic point of view, and explained within a brief report. Be accountable and credited for the investment ideas and actual trades resulting from the idea. 
• Make the best use of existing available technology to improve the efficiency and productivity of performing analysis, accessing information and communicating ideas/results. Recommend new technology when applicable. 
• For senior level position, train and manage entry level analysts.
• Other duties as assigned

  Job Requirements include:  

• Bachelor degree from top universities, advanced degree highly preferable; MBA/CFA is highly desirable. Degrees should be in either finance, economics or hard sciences such as computer science, math, and statistics.
• At least 1 year related experience in natural resource, basic industry and other related industries, preferably from buy-side firm. More experience is required for senior position
• Proficient in Excel and Excel VBA, experience with Bloomberg or similar tools highly preferable. Expert knowledge of Excel and VBA required for certain low level position.
• A resourceful, self-starting, tenacious and entrepreneurial personality. A strong business sense and work ethic. A quick learner and problem solver
• Fluent in both English and Chinese, ability to communicate concisely orally and in writing. 
• Ability to develop and nurture business contacts.
• Knowledge of current events/trends impacting business issues (i.e. macro-economic, socio-political, industry, etc).
• Familiar with statistics and financial derivatives highly preferable.
• Overtime and traveling flexibility

• 透过经常与公司高阶主管、产业专家、客户、供货商、银行界、贸易组织、投资银行、研究团队及其它可能的互动及访谈，以协助制订最适当的投资决策。

• 寻找出可行的投资方案并与基金经理人充分沟通，从策略的角度而言此投资方案 必须是个经过充分研究但浅显易懂的，同时能以简单报表来表达。分析师对所提出的方案及依其方案所做交易的结果负责任并以此为考核之依据。 
• 有效运用科技进行研究分析、获取信息、及投资方案沟通生产力及工作效率之提升。分析师应主动推荐可应用于提升生产力及工作效率之新技术
• 资深位阶人员应负责训练并管理新进人员。
• 其它指派工作。

学经历要求:

• 知名大学财务、.经济、信息科学、数学、统计学系毕业生；具研究生学历者尤佳；.具MBA/CFA资格优先考虑。
• 需有一年以上自然资源、基础工业及相关工作之经验。具基金或投资公司经验尤佳，.高阶职位需具备经更多经验。
• 精通Excel 及 Excel VBA,熟悉Bloomberg或相似软件使用经验者优先考虑，新进位阶的分析师需专精Excel 及 Exel VBA之操作。
• 富创造力、能自动自发、有毅力、具创业性格，对商业判断力强，有工作热诚，学习能力快，并具解决事情的能力。
• 中、英文流利，能以简单明了的方式进行英文书写及口语的沟通
• 具开发能力及能培养商业客户群。
• 具备了解影响产业相关议题之知识。(例：总体经济、社会政治、产业…等方面之知识) 。
• 对统计及财务衍生性金融商品知识熟悉者优先考虑。
• 需能弹性配合加班及海外出差。
