• Successful candidates will be based in Shanghai to work in one of our operations offices in Minhang District of Puxi or SanJiaGang of Pudong. The specific location will depend on our business requirements and the profile of the successful candidates including their residential addresses.
• Reports to Operations Manager
• Key responsibilities include co-coordinating and managing the fleet of school buses and our transport system, ensuring compliance with Singapore headquarters’ requirements and standard operating procedures, hands-on in operational matters and computerized transport system.  Attend to matters arising, ad hoc meetings and problem solving with local bus crew and business partners, liaison with the various stakeholders including local business partners and expatriates, leading and managing a team of local bus crew, handling administrative functions. Preparing regular update reports to school management and corporate office in Singapore.

Requirements:

• Degree, preferably in Transport/Logistics related discipline or Business or English but not necessary.  Those without degree qualifications may be considered if relevant experience or exposure is available;
• Effectively conversant in English and Mandarin.  Able to speak fluently, listen, read and write both English and Mandarin.  Able to speak and listen to Shanghaiese language.  Additional languages are a plus but not essential;
• Applicants should be Chinese citizens and preferably locals from Shanghai but not necessary;
• At least 1 year of relevant working experience;
• Prior working experience with foreign enterprises or exposure to expatriates will be an added advantage but not necessary;
• Able to handle operational, customer liaison and busing issues;
• Simple computer skills;
• Good leadership and networking skills;
• Customer service oriented;
• Adaptable;
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.  Able to liaise cross-culture with stakeholders of various nationalities;
• Able to work under pressure to meet deadlines with minimum supervision;
• Must be willing to be posted to another city in China for at least 2 years if business needs arise;
• Self-motivated, independent, resourceful and confident.
