Principal duties and responsibilities
Within the framework of approved Hbi objectives and guidelines, the incumbent is accountable for the following:
1. Auditing contractor facilities (independently and in conjunction with third-party firms) within China, focusing on compliance with Hbi Global Standards for Suppliers.
2. Implementing Hbi’s strategy for integrating corporate social responsibility decision criteria into global operations and procurement practices.
3. Ensuring business partners adhere to legal and operational compliance requirements.
4. Maintaining contact with Hbi staff to move the Hbi social compliance program forward, improve vendor compliance and coordinate with monitors regarding auditing priorities.
5. Providing information and guidance to business partners for communicating Hbi’s business practices and public policy initiatives.
6. Serving as resource and/or contact for other areas of the Hbi CSR department.
7. Assist in the implementation and oversight of third party CT-PAT/security auditing.
Principal Accountabilities:
Serve as key member of Hbi social compliance team in their country of responsibility.
Specifications/ Skills required:
Education: College degree field related to responsibilities
Experience: 3-5 years work experience in position areas
Skills: Ability to strategically plan
Ability to manager multiple tasks
Use of wide latitude in planning, scheduling, and execution of activities
Bilingual, with fluent English and local language required
Travel: Extensive in country of responsibility
