Responsible to: Report to Head of SSM

Location and travel request: Shanghai, business travel is required.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Identifying market opportunities and potential process manufacturing customers (hunting), development and implementation of successful sales strategies.
  • To manage and develop relationships with assigned accounts in order to maintain existing revenue streams and to secure new and extension contracts.
  • Develop and maintain high level relationships with the key accounts assigned.
  • To build up knowledge in process industry with the understanding of the market's business requirements and thereafter, effective translation into the most optimal solution to the customer.
  • To work and interact closely with the respective Global Account Manager (GAM) of the assigned accounts as part of a global selling team for designated global and regional accounts.
  • To ensure that timely and accurate reporting of all sales and business development activities as required by management from time to time.
  • To be assigned related and pertinent tasks and projects, as necessary from time to time.

Requirements

  • University qualification in Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Science and / or relevant area.
  • 5 - 8 years of progressive ICT sales and marketing experience and responsibility in the process manufacturing industry. Proven track record in sales.
  • Strong und aggressive (hunting) sales skills, drive to succeed, results oriented.
  • Extensive knowledge specifically of the IT market in the region and the process manufacturing industry.
  • Strong entrepreneurial spirit and high level of creativity is essential.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication in Mandarin Chinese and English
  • Interpersonal skills to evoke commitment from the client and integrity in all dealings.

Salary budget Negotiable based on skills and potentials
