Main Objective: To be the internal contact for equipment sales application support to all customers types in the China market place, including working with the relevant sales person. Facilitating improvements in service levels through improving the processes used in providing information required by the customer base. Provide assistance to the customer base as well as the relevant sales person on orders, product data and after-market services, occasionally visiting customers when the need arises. Provide technical and commercial assistance on issues raised and follow up quotations issued. Identify and follow up on potential contracts in the region that are being managed by European companies. Responsibilities:
  • Selection of equipment from the company's range of products that is appropriate to the customer requirements.
  • Provide full and accurate information, on time, relating to the pricing, preparation and submission of tenders/quotations.
  • To be fully aware of both the pricing and margin implications related to specific contracts as they develop.
  • Answer technical and commercial questions raised by both customers and the sales team.
  • Follow up on actions generated to maximise potential opportunities in the region.
  • Liaise closely on all matters related to customers with colleagues based in China and in other parts of the Mono Pumps Group, primarily UK and Australia.
  • Assist in ensuring all orders are correctly processed, from both contractual and process issues.
  • To develop regular communication with distributors on service requirements and service levels being experienced in the market. Actively feeding back concerns and successes to sales team.
  • To help set, promote and monitor the distributor performance. Reports to be generated in line with monthly reporting requirements.
  • To actively develop distributor-partnering initiatives that result in profitable, measurable growth.
  • Identify and follow up on projects being managed in the UK/Europe for installation in the China region. To provide details to the local distributor to assist in winning the business.
  • Provide training to distributor personnel as and when necessary.
  • Develop promotional support packages to maximise the business opportunities for both Mono and the distributor.
  • Assist with other marketing related activities as necessary.

  • Sales forecast accuracy.
  • Quotation to order-hit rate.
  • Identification and monitoring of key projects.
