    Report to:         Manager-Supplier Management, Capital Equipment Caton China

    Location:          Shanghai Pudong

 

Key responsibility:

·         Organize, manage and drive all purchasing activities related to prototype and projects within design phase. He/she is the primary interface for the project manager and contributing to project targets. Ensure that the project managers are updated with any kind of supply issues related to the development projects.

 

·         Take accountability for prototypes in terms of manufacturing technology, quality, delivery, cost performance etc. Build and maintain long-term cooperation with suppliers.

 

·         Drive sourcing and contracting activities according to Supplier Management process and in alignment with overall Supplier Management Strategy.

 

·         Work closely with Supplier management & Quality teams to drive supplier identification, selection and supplier development activities. Ensure the relevance of the choice of suppliers and achievement of targets

 

·         Negotiate all purchasing conditions related to development projects according to the Supplier Management Process guidelines.

 

·         Support D&E department and Supplier Management department with overall cost target follow up, securing all the necessary specifications to be available to suppliers and highlighting/challenging all purchasing implications related to specifications requirements.

 

·         Work with design engineer and QA engineers to monitor the quality of supplied products, including proper order issue, order’s specifications management to and order expediting according to Supplier Management process.

 

·         Initiate and follow up of Purchase Orders he/she is responsible for.

 

·         Drive short term corrective actions to supplier’s non performance, within the development/design projects he/she is responsible for.

 

·         Frequent business contact with product companies in Tetra Pak in Sweden & Italy. The product company in Tetra Pak focuses on product innovation and industrialization of packaging lines including world class expertise in raw materials and equipment to our customers all around the world.  

 

Key requirements:

·         University degree in engineering (preferably mechanical/design engineering)

·         Senior person with at least 8-10 years working experience

·         Experience working in/with international companies

·         Knowledge of purchasing, material quality, design & engineering, manufacturing technologies and related functions

·         Familiar with component / module sourcing base in China

·         Well organized and strong in leadership, commercial drive, and negotiation skills 

·         Good English both verbal and written

·         Very good computer skills

·         Willing  to travel frequently (almost around Shanghai) 联系方式：
