Role Purpose 职位目标：
Through application of scientific training, clinical research expertise, and pharmaceutical industry experience, the Associate Area Medical Advisor acts as a coordinator for the area clinical research quality and assist the Area Medical Advisor and Medical Director to ensure all area clinical studies in GCP quality and following GSK SOPs. The Associate Area Medical Advisor will assist the Area Medical Advisor and Medical Director develops the area strategy for clinical quality and facilitates and monitors the implementation of the strategy in the medical department of each OC.
The position will also serve as a point of contact with the Central for the area and acts as an interface between Central and OCs and among OCs for clinical quality related activity and matters. The position will closely work with CRMs in each OC to implement the area clinical quality strategy. The position will also function as the area coordinator to manage issues related to clinical quality above OC level with area implication. The position reports to the Area Medical Advisor and serves as a member of area medical management team.
Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities 主要工作职责：
Clinical Research Quality
1. Assist Area Medical Advisor to develop a comprehensive China/HK area clinical quality strategy centered on the GSK SOPs and GCP principles and built-in with the key considerations essential for effective implementation at area level
2. Work with CRMs of each OC to develop a clinical quality implementation plan and support the implementation at OC level
3. Assist Area Medical Advisor to develop a clinical quality monitoring plan with CRMs and support the execution of clinical quality monitoring at each OC to ensure the highest possible standard of clinical research in the area and OC is maintained
4. Responsible for ensuring all clinical research related SOPs current and effective in each OC with support from OC medical department
5. Responsible for producing monthly report on clinical study timeline and quality updates
6. Provide assistance to CRMs on clinical quality issues
7. Responsible for coordinating area clinical research training program, ensuring appropriate clinical training being conducted for all clinical staff on time
8. Act as an interface to communicating area/OC clinical quality needs to Central and on time cascade central new policy/guidelines to OCs
9. Support the Area Medical Advisor and Medical Director with specific clinical quality responsibilities and the execution of those responsibilities.
10. Comply with GSK Global Quality Policy (GQP) and Global Quality Guideline (GQG)
11. Accomplish any other tasks assigned by the superior
Qualifications/Requirements: (Education / Experience / Competencies)

The Associate Area Medical Advisor for clinical quality should have: solid technical knowledge of drug development, clinical research and GCP, demonstrated line or matrix management experience, excellent project management skill to achieve superb quality status for clinical research in the area. The person should also have demonstrated effective communication skill for a broad range of audiences, including senior management, and have ability to utilize organizational channels, experience and influencing skills to facilitate successful project implementation and effective issue resolution. Fluent English (listening, speaking and writing) is highly essential. Experience in multi-national pharma's China/HK operation is a highly desired.
