  • Develop and implement our China Retail Pharmacy Channel Business Strategy
  • Drive profitability and growth of our business in the RP channel on an overall LDD level and locally jointly with the local GM/Sales Director/RP Sales Mgr, through:
    - Primary responsibility for RP business planning, objectives, strategies and measurements
    - Business development
    - Execution and accountability for profitability and growth
  • Develop service offerings and capabilities in the RP channel, including business modeling, pricing, measurements, resources (people, capabilities, coverage, etc), policies, procedures and systems on LDD and local company level
  • Develop, maintain and exploit RP information (including RP Data Base, related processes and analysis)
  • Assist and provide leadership to local LDD management for RP business development, profitability and growth
主要职责Key Responsibilities
Business Strategy and Planning
· Development our RP business strategy and plans to achieve corporate objectives. This includes identifying strategies and priorities, planning, budgeting and forecasting, business modeling, value propositions and KSFs
· Assist LDD entities in their individual RP business planning and strategies, seek alignment and leverage between them.
· Coordinate and leverage on RP businesses of NED and LS to achieve LDD and corporate goals
· Monitor performance and advice on progress and gaps to the LDD GM and LDD-entities management with recommendations.
· Ensure execution of plans and strategies and act on deviations with the GM and/or LDD entities management
· Stay abreast of industry and regulatory developments
Drive profitability and growth
· Develop and drive innovative and profitable RP-business models (including pricing, resources, policies, procedures and systems, measurements, etc) on National LDD and in local companies
· Identifying business opportunities from new businesses, new products, conversion to direct sales, expansion to modern trade and other new, both independently and jointly with LDD entities. Leverage this for NED and LS where possible and visa versa.
· Execute business opportunities, including contract negotiations, business process mapping, implementation, post-implementation services, etc.
· Monitor and analyze business performances, advice and act to maximize profitability and growth
· Assist and support LDD entities to implement such business opportunities
Key Account Management
· Build rapport, trust and relationship with Key Accounts (including RP Principals and key customers (CPUs, Modern trade Wal-Mart, Watsons, etc)) and maintain initiative by ensuring that the plans, programs and objectives of such KA's are collected, coordinated and communicated at LDD BU and entity level. Lead such initiatives and drive areas where we can create value for KA's like new product launching, strategies to support Principals to increase their market share, pricing, business models and channels, service levels, etc. Goal is to seek and catch business opportunities with KA's.
· Coordinate between such KA's, LDD BU and LDD entities and other HQ functions to ensure meeting the KA's needs, solving problems and maximizing our business opportunities.
· Conduct regular business review meeting include review and analysis of the current business, market & product trends, sales forecast, demand and supply issues in the market, business development and opportunities, follow-up of actions, etc. ; both independently or jointly with LDD entities.
Data and Information
· Develop, maintain and exploit RP information (including RP Data Base, related processes and analysis) and other IT tool to enhance productivity, profitability and our value proposition
Other
· Assist to develop best sales and business practices and share and spread such throughout LDD
· Provide RP sales and RP sales related expertise, training and coaching in order to improve the level of each LDD and LDD BU as a whole
· Assist new the transition of LDD entities; this could include taking up ownership or leadership in some cases for certain business or management parts or roles.
· Organizing BU or assisting in local conferences and meetings (customers Principals, customers, authorities, etc)
· Key member of the LDD management team to contribute to overall LDD objectives and goals
· Handle project and other tasks assigned
教育和职业资格要求 Education & Professional Qualification
  • University Bachelors Degree in industry relevant fields (Medical, Pharmacy, marketing, business Management, etc)
  • Plus preferably advanced business administration degree
工作经验要求 (职能相关的) Work Experience Required (functional)
  • 5 years senior executive experience with overall, or significant P&L responsibility for BU or company
  • 10 years Pharma or FMCG working experience in the Retail pharmacy or Modern trade related industries- Either in the RP or modern trade industry, managing the business - Or providing services like promotion/sales or distribution services to the RP-channel or modern trade for Pharma or FMCG companies
  • Strong sales management skills, having significant experience managing large or complex sales teams with effective sales management tools, methods and systems
  • Proven managerial and people skills
  • Proven business planning and business modeling experience
  • Experience in business development and KAM
  • Strong connection with key CPUs and modern trade Watsons, Wal-Mart, etc)
