Project opportunity, Shanghai based

 

Job Responsibilities:

 

·                     Responsibility for cost control & planning on a large project

·                     Management of project controls team

·                     Recruitment of cost engineers & planners

·                     Preparation of project cost estimates

·                     Develop & maintain project cost reports

·                     Preparation of regular project cost reviews & forecasts

·                     Preparation of project monthly cost reports

·                     Preparation of cash flow forecasts

·                     Progress measurement & reporting

·                     Earned value measurement

·                     Review & checking of contractor monthly valuations

·                     Preparation of resource charts

·                     Liaison with procurement dept, finance dept, project manager, construction manager & contractors

 

Requirements:

 

·                     Chinese citizen

·                     Bachelor degree in an engineering discipline

·                     At least 10 years project controls experience

·                     Experience in construction projects in the process industries e.g. petrochemical, pharmaceutical, chemical, food processing

·                     Computer skills: Microsoft packages, particularly MS Excel, MS Project, PPP, some SAP experience desirable

·                     Language skills: fluent Chinese & good English (both written & verbal)
