Job Responsibilities:

 

·                     Full responsibility for assigned project & studies including, tender preparation, contract negotiation, project management, design management, procurement & construction management

·                     Management of project team

·                     Supervision of detail design packages carried out by design institutes

·                     Construction management of sub-contractors including safety, planning, quality & cost control

·                     Management of design & construction safety to international standards

·                     Liaison with clients, project team, suppliers (domestic & foreign) & subcontractors

 

Requirements:

 

·                     Chinese citizen

·                     Bachelor degree in an relevant engineering discipline

·                     At least 10 years working experience, including 5 years experience as project manager & 5 years in a design institute

·                     Background in process industries e.g. pharmaceutical, chemical, food processing

·                     Process plant design experience

·                     Understanding of EPCM project process including EIA & OSHA studies, government approvals & HSE management.

·                     Particular strengths in project management, engineering management, contract negotiation, cost control, planning, HSE management, and sub-contractor coordination

·                     In depth understanding of western design & construction safety standards would be an advantage 

·                     Computer skills: Microsoft packages, etc

·                     Language skills: fluent English & Chinese both written & verbal
