· Ensure that all entities in East China comply with the Chinese tax laws and regulations, as well as with the company tax policies and processes
· Review and approve tax filings/payments and tax accounting entries/reconciliation to ensure compliance with external and internal requirements.
· Compilation of the monthly, quarterly, and annual tax reports (internal and external).
· Apply an active tax planning to minimize the tax burden in all entities in East China.
· Protect the company's interests in potential tax audit and dispute cases.
· Render tax support to legal entities in regard to financial reviews.
· Support the creation/liquidation process for new/redundant entities in China.
· Support local investment projects in regard to the project negotiation on tax and legal structure related matters as well as in the negotiation concerning the financial subsidies and preferential treatment from the Government.
· Review all contracts to ensure that all tax related requirements are considered.
· Assist the Head of Finance by achieving the targets of the finance department.
Job Requirements:
· Bachelor Degree in Business Administration with a major in accounting.
· Chinese institute of CPA's membership and/or a recognized overseas accounting body is preferred.
· Solid technical knowledge and experience in tax planning/ compliance affairs. Is familiar with tax regulations, policies, and PRC GAAP.
· 5 years or more of tax related work experience in MNCs.
· Good oral and written command of Mandarin and English.
· Familiar with Microsoft Office software like Word, Excel, etc. SAP knowledge is preferred.
