• To make shipping plans according to the purchase order request, involving air shipping, ocean shipping, FCL or LCL operations
• To send shipping instruction to suppliers, chase shipments and collect the related shipping documents from suppliers and send to USA in time
• To coordinate the relationship between suppliers and the nominated shipping forwarder
• To follow up with suppliers on bookings from specified forwarder; keep track of shipments to vessel sailing
• To communicate with USA logistics leader on shipping arrangements and issues etc.
• To monitor and control the overall logistics cost

Qualification requirements

• College degree or above, majoring in Foreign Trade, Logistics or English preferred
• Minimum 2~3 years’ working experience in the forwarding or shipping company
• Good knowledge of ocean carrier and freight forwarding services for US trade lanes (i.e. booking with carriers, routing, weight restrictions, vender management, etc.)
• Attention to details
• Ability to multitask and prioritize multiple projects
• Team player, working effectively in a cross-functional team
• Good communication skills in the English language, both oral and written
• Good communication and coordination skills with vendors and the shipping forwarder
• Self-started, able to perform under pressure
